MIPP Pledges Support for Hindu Rights at 43rd National Delegates Conference of Hindu Dharma Mamandram
Kuala Lumpur, 28 June 2025 — The 43rd National Delegates Conference of the Hindu Dharma Mamandram brought together delegates from across the country in a show of unity, resilience, and unwavering commitment to Hindu values, cultural preservation, and youth empowerment in Malaysia.
Speaking at the event, a representative of the Malaysian Indian People’s Party (MIPP) expressed deep honour in attending the prestigious gathering, acknowledging the Hindu Dharma Mamandram as a longstanding and respected institution dedicated to promoting Sanatana Dharma, spiritual education, and community solidarity for over four decades.
“I take this opportunity to congratulate the leadership and members of Hindu Dharma Mamandram for their continued dedication and selfless service,” the MIPP representative stated. “This conference reflects the enduring relevance of Hindu spiritual and cultural organisations in Malaysia today.”
The MIPP praised the Hindu Dharma Mamandram for being a beacon of dharma, discourse, and service, and recognised the critical role such organisations play in shaping cultural identity and shared values within the Hindu community.

In a call for unity and action, the MIPP stressed the urgent need for collective Hindu leadership to address the growing challenges and marginalization faced by the community. “It is imperative that the Hindu community no longer remain silent or be treated as an afterthought,” the spokesperson said. “The preservation of our faith, traditions, and cultural identity is non-negotiable.”
The party reaffirmed its readiness to work hand-in-hand with the Hindu Dharma Mamandram and all Hindu-based organisations to safeguard religious freedom, temple autonomy, and cultural representation as guaranteed by the Federal Constitution.
MIPP further urged for greater representation of Hindu voices in national policy-making, especially in the areas of religious education, heritage protection, socio-economic upliftment, and youth development.
“MIPP is unwavering in its commitment to defend and uphold Hindu rights with firmness, dignity, and unity. We will stand resolutely with all Hindu organisations to ensure our voice is heard, our values protected, and our future secured,” the statement concluded.
The conference highlighted the growing momentum among Hindu organizations to unify efforts in defending cultural rights and inspiring future generations through shared leadership and vision.
